Here I will try to gather all the awesome rules of design I come over while surfing the net. There are always some genius rules that I would need to follow when developing a new website or app, but you remember nothing when it comes to it. So here’s the list:
I was making a huge seamless texture of a concrete wall, when I found out that the original textures were taken with a light source more powerful at the right side. This resulted in images where the left side was darker than the right one.
In this short post I will show you how to easily turn a photo into a seamlessly tiled texture with just three clicks. I will be using GIMP that is a free and open source software for image editing.
