Master the Windows 10 Clean Up Tips

Though hard drives are getting larger in size, we still face issues such as filled up space, disorganized data, tons of clutter and duplicate files. Use Disk CleanUp

Double click “This PC” icon on Desktop and right click the drive you want to clean.

This opens up a new list of options. Select Properties to fire up Drive Properties dialog box.

In the new dialog, click Disk CleanUp button. You’ll be guided through the entire procedure.

WinSxS Windows 10 Components

WinSxS cleanup of components is required to fix mess with space hogging component files.

1. In Search Box on Taskbar, type “Task Scheduler”
2. Open that from Search Results.
3. Locate following console tree: Task Scheduler Library\Microsoft\Windows\Servicing\StartComponentCleanUp
4. Click Run under “Selected item”.

Clean Duplicates

Delete Temporary AppData Files

  2. Press Windows Key + R; type “AppData
  3. Click OK.
  4. Open following location:
  5. Delete all files, subfolders that you see in the “Temp” folder.
  6. Open following directory:
  7. Delete all files, subfolders from this folder too.

  1. Press Windows Key + R; type “inetcpl.cpl

  7. If you wish, check-up the box named “Delete browsing history on exit” (Optional).
